This unique penetrating clear wood stabilizer has been developed to prolong the life of wood and wood products. Storm Stain Lumbercare Wood Life Extender is designed to retard warping, swelling, shrinking and checking of unfinished woods. It resists mildew and other fungus and repels moisture. When applied on exterior wood surfaces without finish top coats it will fully protect the wood but does not prevent the color change that occurs when wood surface is continuously exposed to ultraviolet rays.

The partial pigmentation of this stain blends with the colors and tones of the wood without distracting from the natural graining and texture inherent in the wood itself. Semitransparent linseed oil base stain repels water and provides maximum protection from the ravages of weather. This product contains wood preservatives which help protect the film against mildew, fungus and moisture on properly prepared wood.

This lightly pigmented 100% acrylic latex exterior wood stain enriches the natural graining and configurations of shingles, shakes, rough sawn siding and clapboards. Storm Stain's semi-transparent formulation provides light fast colors with excellent fade resistance and acrylic resins for long term water repellency. It gives "Cape Cod Gray" appearance of weathered wood without the need for salt air to do this naturally over time. The preservative that is in this formulation functions as a mildew and fungus inhibitor for the stain film.
